500 Years of Winemaking... and we are pouring it for you

Feudo Montoni:

An Island Within an Island In the heart of Sicily lies a hidden realm, a sanctuary of vines encircled by golden waves of durum wheat. This is the world of Feudo Montoni—a place both rooted in history and vibrant with life, where winemaking has flourished since 1469. Over centuries, aristocratic hands held stewardship of these lands. But it was in the late 19th century that Rosario Sireci inherited a hidden treasure: ancient vines, silent and waiting, beneath the Sicilian sun.

That same legacy now flows through the hands and heart of his grandson, Fabio Sireci, the third-generation custodian of tradition, who tends these vineyards with unwavering care and purpose. Fabio calls it “an island within an island.”Here, centuries-old fields of wheat encircle Feudo Montoni’s lush vine slopes, creating a natural fortress that guards purity—both in grape and in spirit.

At elevations between 500 and 750 meters, east-facing slopes drink in dawn’s glow, wind and shifting temperatures carving depth and elegance into each cluster.

The estate cultivates more than vines—it cultivates life. Between rows of Nero d’Avola, Grillo, Catarratto, Perricone, Nerello Mascalese and Inzolia, Fabio plants almonds, legumes, fennel, and wildflowers.

This thoughtful rotation enriches the soil, honors biodiversity, and sustains generations. Organic at Feudo Montoni is more than method—it’s a philosophy. From renewable energy to lightweight bottles, from minimal sulphites to hands-on harvesting, Fabio and his team embrace a gentle, respectful approach that honors the land and the people who tend it.
